Successful All Along!

I used to think success was measured by ridiculous things like the size of your bank account, the amount of crap you've accumulated, the square footage of your house, your pay check...

I'm embarassed to say that it's taken 45 years to figure out, but a person's success isn't measured by any of these things. It's measured by the little things that many people don't even notice. It's the random acts of kindness you perform, the bonds that tie you to your family, the circle of friends you have around you, the smiles of you children.

What a relief this revelation has made in my life, in my business, in my attitude...I am, without a doubt, the richest person on Earth! And these past few years, having gone through a very difficult divorce and starting and building a new business, I am truly blessed with a family that is second to none, and a group of friends that I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world.

So I guess now, having reached the end of that journey and now that I can see the light at the end of that tunnel, I want to say thank you...for everything you've all done for me...for being there with a shoulder to cry on, our a bank account for me to dip into; or a joke to make me laugh or a cup of coffee to wake me up; or a drink to calm me down.

You know that saying "Everytime God closes a door, he opens a window?" Well outside my window is a wonderful group of people I am so thankful for!
